Soooooooo.... I finished the game.

Yeah, I finally finished Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. It only took me like forever, I think I bought it like 3 weeks ago and unfortunately I haven't been able to put in as many hours as I would like but I was finally able to finish it, and I think that's what matters in the end, right?

In the interest of not spoiling it since I don't want to be a total ass hat to anyone that hasn't had the chance to finish the game yet, so I wont say the ending, but I thought it was pretty good. Like if I had to turn evil, I think that's the way I would want to go, in intense insanity. Being crazy is my jam, for reals, if I could be paid to be a crazy person, I would, but unfortunately, I have not found a way to monetize that yet. But there's still time...

Anyway, I digress, I would definitely have to say that while this game was waaaaay shorter than I generally care for, but that does not mean that it wasn't a good game. The thing about this game is that it really got me excited to learn how everyone got to where they were in Borderlands 2. Color me shocked when I started the game and was allied with Handsome Jack, well at the time he was just Jack. But seriously, this guy was just full of surprises, and it was fun to see his transformation from good to crazy to evil.

Overall I give this game 5 out of 5 Andi Buns. So if you haven't played it GO! Like now, I'm not kidding. If not you're dead to me.

Now let's get on with Borderlands 3! I'm patiently waiting for it :)

Ice Demon Slayers: Cool or nah??

Have you read the new Fairy Tail chapter for the week?? You should! But no, this week we got another installment of Gray's ice demon slayer magic, and once again we get to see someone other than Natsu display their awesome powers, keep in mind, this is not a hate on Natsu rant, I'm just excited to see Gray get to do something cool since everyone always says that Gray is just as strong as Natsu.

Is it just me? Or did anyone else think that this scene was pretty baller. Like seriously, Gray turned himself into a HALF DEMON so that he and Natsu wouldn't get annihilated, that's pretty cool. But seriously, what are the limits of his powers?? I feel like we may never get to know.

That's the only thing that really bugs me, EVERYONE freaking says how great Gray is and how powerful he is and how much power he has, yet enemy after enemy, Gray has to take a back seat to Natsu because he doesn't have as much heart as Natsu does, well I think that's BS, Gray has just as much to fight for and I really want him to be the one to take down The Mard Geer. Maybe that's just me though.

So righteous! Yet he wasn't able to follow through because he spent the rest of his energy saving his bro. No worries though, because Natsu will most definitely take down the baddie this time, as per usual. But this was still a badass moment and I was all on board the Gray train here.

So, pretty much I think that Gray being an ice demon slayer is pretty awesome, but apparently the writers for Fairy Tail don't feel the same way because he doesn't get the screen time I feel he deserves. So, I give his new powers a thumbs up and hope that he gets to keep them unlike Kana and Lucy's powers, but that's another rant for another time.

My Sketchbook: Lucy Heartfilia-Aquarius WIP

Hey, remember that old, old WIP I started a couple months ago? Yeah, haven't touched it for awhile...until today! You know, I think I have a thing for hiatuses and forgetting to post and draw and also be a person (read: too much ramen, not enough sleep). Um, whoops?

Here's a picture of my last update (for reference):

Whaaaat? I'm not quite sure about the style I've picked yet (gotta try out all kinds) BUT I'm really liking the improvements and seeing the compare and contrast. Works in progress--seeing others'-- are my jam and to have my own is super exciting because this is the first time I've ever kept a digital sketchbook. Already, I'm a fan. I have to give it up. I fought against the transition to digital drawing for awhile, pretty much all my life actually (no idea why), yet I'm enjoying the new media, experimenting with different brushes and textures and being able to make a brighter more interesting looking work more quickly and differently. It's a bit of a challenge, getting over the learning curve of using a digital tablet and it's been years since I've actually sat down and drawn, but I love it like I never stopped.

So yeah...with this I'm thinking of keeping a record of how I like my tablet, drawing programs, learning to create art digitally, etc. Working title is still my sketchbooks series. It'll mostly just be me sitting around making fan art in different styles, which...what else is new. SO! What do you think?

Andi's Corner: Heaven's Lost Property

What do I think of this anime?? To sum it all up super quickly:

FANSERVICE!

Seriously... Take a look,

Also, I just think this episode was hilarious... because flying panties are weirdly funny. But yeah, this show is all about fanservice. And while some of it is pretty funny, some of it is a little over the top. You'll know what I mean if you've watched it/will watch it.

Free! Cast Reaction

Starting last Monday, Funimation started announcing their dub cast for Free! Eternal Summer, and boy are my emotions conflicted. I would have to say over all the cast is pretty stellar, but there are a few people that I don't particularly care for or think that  they could've been better cast, but this is just my opinion, so before you get too whipped up if you don't agree with me, remember that.

So, let's get to talkin about this cast! I'll talk about them in the order they were announced. Starting with Rei, who as Ariel and I predicrted, was cast as J. Michael Tatum. Obvs, he always gets the cool bespectacled character, so that was to be expected. And in all honesty, I'm totally cool with this casting because I love J. Michael Tatum. He has acted his way into my heart and the love only increases with each character I see him play, so I doubt that I will be disappointed with him as Rei. Good call Funimation.

Next, Nagisa... oh Nagisa, you had the potential to not annoy me, but because you're Greg Ayres, I have a dislike for you. The only role that I have been able to tolerate him in was Kaoru, and that was because his high pitched squeal was masked by the glorious Todd Haberkorn. Unfortunately for me though, I can totally see how his voice fits Nagisa, so this was technically a good call on Funimation's part, but it will torture my ears to hear Greg's voice, which I'm not a fan of.

Up next we have Makoto, and taking on this role will be Johnny Young Bosch, a newish name to me, but he quickly earned his way onto my list of men that make me chuckle when I watched him as Kitamura in Toradora, and I think he could play a great bro, so I'm gonna go ahead and give him my Andi Bun of approval.

To my hearts great joy the next day Haruka was announced, and it's not that I'm obsessed with Haruka or anything, more like I'm obsesed with Todd. The glorious man Todd Haberkorn is going to be voicing Haruka, and I cannot wait. As far as I'm concerned he can do no wrong. So, I don't really need to say much except for thank you Funimation, just, thank you.

Rounding my favorite bro's is Vic Mignogna, who is going to voice Rin. I do not think this is a good fit, and this is not in any way a dis on the Mignogna, it's just that he has a very specific kind of voice that I'm not sure really fits with Rin. Who knows, maybe he'll prove me wrong which I'm hoping that he goes chameleon mode and proves me wrong, but only time can tell at this point. So I just have to give him a chance and see if he grows on me.

For the supporting characters I'm just going to briefly talk about them so let's jump right into these guys. Up first we have Jerry Jewel as Momotaro, and can I just say, bravo. I LOVE JERRY JEWEL. He's one of my faves, so he's obvs gonna rock the house. Josh Grelle as Aiichiro, who has the right kind of voice for this lil dude, whiny but not an annoying whiny, the lovable kind of whiny that I can get behind. To round out the Ouran reunion, we've got Caitlin Glass playing Miho, and while I have to admit she definitely has the mature teacher voice that goes along with Miho's character, she's not really on my list of favorite characters, so I'm probably gonna pout through her scenes but I still don't share the same level of dislike for her as I do Greg Ayres, for that level of dislike you're gonna want to talk to Ariel. The final two that I'm going to talk about are Sosuke and Gou who are voice by Ian Sinclaire and Jamie Marchi respectively. Ian is a very good choice in my opinion, he has always been able to pull off that cool, serious type guy character, so I'm gonna stand behind this casting decision. Now as for Jamie, I honestly don't have anything against her, but I feel like her voice is too mature to play Gou. That's pretty much my only beef, she generally plays the older sister/mother/teacher character and I think that those kind of roles fit her pretty well, but I'll give her a chance and see how she handles this role, because I'm just that nice, not to mention the fact that she's already been cast, so there's not a lot that can be done to change this.

Overall, I'd say that this show was pretty well cast, with a couple of exceptions, but me being the generous person I am, I'm going to give all these guys a chance before I say anything too harsh about them. So basically, stay tuned until after the show aires to hear what I think about the show after I've watched a couple of episodes!

New Fairy Tail Alert!

I wake up this morning at my leisure only to find an email from one Manga Panda, which is excellent news for me because they only ever email me for one thing... MOTHAHUMPING FAIRY TAIL! You could say I was slightly more than excited.

But anywhose, let's start talkin bout this ish!

PS, this is full of spoilers... so if you haven't read it, read it. That's all I got.

Can we just take a second here and all say "FINALLY!" Like dude, Gray has had this super awesome upgrade for I don't even know how many chapters and has only gotten to use it once.... I know that like every new chapter Mashima decides to go back like 20 minutes so that he can talk about another character and the hardships their facing, but I pretty much only wanna see Gray and Lucy kick ass right now... cause I know that Lucy's power up is still there because it's not fair to make her destroy her favorite key and only get like one water bearer attack one time, no, just, no. So let's just cut to the chase, have Lucy and Gray team up and Natsu can pull a Lucy and watch in the corner until the precise time where only he can help, amirighttho?? Nah, no one but me would be happy to see that, unfortunately.

Is it just me or do you constantly find yourself saying, wait, why the f*ck are Sting and Rogue here, like what have they added really?? They acknowledged that Natsu has no fear which we all know after seeing him go up against countless bosses and barely showing any fear until Tenrou Island, but they haven't really helped Natsu's fighting in anyway, but then again I always feel like no one really helps Natsu, everyone just kind throws little baby hits until Natsu finally comes in and is like "okay noobs, time to let big papa handle the real fight."

This bitch, aka guy I never really cared about cause I just wrote him off as an asshole from the moment I laid eyes on him, but he makes his return. Can I just say, Lovin the hair/beard/necklace combo. Really, yah've never looked better.

Where did you even get the idea that you're the king of the underworld? Who told you, you could do that?? Def not The Mard Geer! So sit down son!

I kind of had a feeling that THE Mard Geer was holding back, TEACH THEM A LESSON YOU SMUG BASTARD! Also, nice pecs.

Yeah buddy, we got the bros back in action. I'm sure Happy, Lucy, Erza, and Wendy will find their way over here to watch the fight so that Natsu can be at his most powerful when he fights around friends. Since you most definitely can't tell, I'm still very salty that Lisanna said that to Lucy in the Tenrou arc as if freaking telling Lucy that Natsu gets real strong when he has his friends with him is some sort of huge secret that no one know. Everybody knows that Lisanna, go sit down.

Overall, I like that this chapter finally let Gray be a mini badass, but I wish that there could've been more. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like lately these chapters have felt like they haven't really finished any sort of thoughts in them and you have to wait like 5 more chapters just to finally have one teeny tiny section completed. I do really wanna see The Mard Geer finally get taken down, but mostly I'm wondering what the hell is gonna happen with Mavis, is anyone gonna get her some clothes so she's no longer naked? Is she gonna take out face?? Will she hug Zeref??? All of these are important questions that remain unanswered.

Now, normally I would make some sort of prediction for either the next chapter or how I think the arc is going to end, but every time I come up with one that I think is super clever and could actually work, that damned Mashima throws a wrench in my plans and makes my entire theory impossible because of one teensy detail. And I get pissed off. That ain't cool Mashima, stop going rogue and read the like 50,000 letters I've sent you with suggestions on how I think next weeks Fairy Tail should go!

Call me obsessed! I dare you! I love em. Bros of all shapes and sizes, I cannot get enough!

Don't even get me started on bro hugs! They're the F*CKING best!

Sometimes I wish I were a guy just so I could be a bro. But then I remember I'm a girl and I get happy again, because I can appreciate a broship from the outside.

I dare you to find something better than a good pair of broseidon's!

You wont.

But give it a try, go on, you'll waste your life trying.

They're all over the place!

Even back in the day bros were so bro-ey!
