Soooooooo.... I finished the game.

Yeah, I finally finished Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. It only took me like forever, I think I bought it like 3 weeks ago and unfortunately I haven't been able to put in as many hours as I would like but I was finally able to finish it, and I think that's what matters in the end, right?

In the interest of not spoiling it since I don't want to be a total ass hat to anyone that hasn't had the chance to finish the game yet, so I wont say the ending, but I thought it was pretty good. Like if I had to turn evil, I think that's the way I would want to go, in intense insanity. Being crazy is my jam, for reals, if I could be paid to be a crazy person, I would, but unfortunately, I have not found a way to monetize that yet. But there's still time...

Anyway, I digress, I would definitely have to say that while this game was waaaaay shorter than I generally care for, but that does not mean that it wasn't a good game. The thing about this game is that it really got me excited to learn how everyone got to where they were in Borderlands 2. Color me shocked when I started the game and was allied with Handsome Jack, well at the time he was just Jack. But seriously, this guy was just full of surprises, and it was fun to see his transformation from good to crazy to evil.

Overall I give this game 5 out of 5 Andi Buns. So if you haven't played it GO! Like now, I'm not kidding. If not you're dead to me.

Now let's get on with Borderlands 3! I'm patiently waiting for it :)

Ice Demon Slayers: Cool or nah??

Have you read the new Fairy Tail chapter for the week?? You should! But no, this week we got another installment of Gray's ice demon slayer magic, and once again we get to see someone other than Natsu display their awesome powers, keep in mind, this is not a hate on Natsu rant, I'm just excited to see Gray get to do something cool since everyone always says that Gray is just as strong as Natsu.

Is it just me? Or did anyone else think that this scene was pretty baller. Like seriously, Gray turned himself into a HALF DEMON so that he and Natsu wouldn't get annihilated, that's pretty cool. But seriously, what are the limits of his powers?? I feel like we may never get to know.

That's the only thing that really bugs me, EVERYONE freaking says how great Gray is and how powerful he is and how much power he has, yet enemy after enemy, Gray has to take a back seat to Natsu because he doesn't have as much heart as Natsu does, well I think that's BS, Gray has just as much to fight for and I really want him to be the one to take down The Mard Geer. Maybe that's just me though.

So righteous! Yet he wasn't able to follow through because he spent the rest of his energy saving his bro. No worries though, because Natsu will most definitely take down the baddie this time, as per usual. But this was still a badass moment and I was all on board the Gray train here.

So, pretty much I think that Gray being an ice demon slayer is pretty awesome, but apparently the writers for Fairy Tail don't feel the same way because he doesn't get the screen time I feel he deserves. So, I give his new powers a thumbs up and hope that he gets to keep them unlike Kana and Lucy's powers, but that's another rant for another time.

My Sketchbook: Lucy Heartfilia-Aquarius WIP

Hey, remember that old, old WIP I started a couple months ago? Yeah, haven't touched it for awhile...until today! You know, I think I have a thing for hiatuses and forgetting to post and draw and also be a person (read: too much ramen, not enough sleep). Um, whoops?

Here's a picture of my last update (for reference):

Whaaaat? I'm not quite sure about the style I've picked yet (gotta try out all kinds) BUT I'm really liking the improvements and seeing the compare and contrast. Works in progress--seeing others'-- are my jam and to have my own is super exciting because this is the first time I've ever kept a digital sketchbook. Already, I'm a fan. I have to give it up. I fought against the transition to digital drawing for awhile, pretty much all my life actually (no idea why), yet I'm enjoying the new media, experimenting with different brushes and textures and being able to make a brighter more interesting looking work more quickly and differently. It's a bit of a challenge, getting over the learning curve of using a digital tablet and it's been years since I've actually sat down and drawn, but I love it like I never stopped.

So yeah...with this I'm thinking of keeping a record of how I like my tablet, drawing programs, learning to create art digitally, etc. Working title is still my sketchbooks series. It'll mostly just be me sitting around making fan art in different styles, which...what else is new. SO! What do you think?
